NYCC Surprise - Tomorrowland ReAction Figures Now?

In addition to a pair of swell NES-themed Freddy and Jason figures, it turns out Funko had a special surprise at New York Comic Con - the first figures from Tomorrowland, specifically Frank!  200 pieces are said to be available, and while I do not yet know if it's an exclusive debut or just a case of you not being able to get something, you can find them on eBay right now.

The going rate this weekend seems to be $50-$90 thus far.

Entertainment Earth Gets Clear Invisible Man Exclusive ReAction Figure

I've been wanting to tell you about this one for a while, because we're doing a new exclusive at my place of employment!

 

This Universal Monsters Clear Invisible Man ReAction 3 3/4-Inch Retro Action Figure is an Entertainment Earth Exclusive and due in stock in a couple of months.  The other figures in this line are hitting now - I just got my Mummy today and the quality is better than most of the other ReAction figures so far, which is to say, pretty 1980sy and actually glossy.  I've got really high hopes for this one, so click here and order yours.

Day The Earth Stood Still Retro Figures

Amok Time will produce a The Day The Earth Stood Still Gort and Klaatu Action Figure 2-Pack, with a 4-inch Klaatu (in front) and a 5-inch Gort (in back). It's $39.99, and due in October.

Zica Toys Bringing Back Captain Action, Real American Hero-Style

While not Kenner-style, Zica Toys announced Captain Action will be made in 1980s G.I. Joe style - a great idea in terms of setting their figures apart, and an interesting choice given the older-skewing nature of the property.

Here's a choice quote from Zica via Facebook:
"They won't have O-rings but the articulation will be the same."

Well! There's a great new addition for the Joe fans, and it's a pretty good sibling to Joe given that brand's scale change over the years.
